Captain W.J.S. Simpson can be seen in the picture.
Captain W.J.S Simpson had served on the Western Front from 1914
until 1917 when he was captured by the Germans at the Battle of Cambria
and spent the remainder of the war as a POW. After the war he joined the IAP
and served whith them for 5 years. He left the Army in 1926 and rejoined in 1939
until he retired in 1944.
